I travelled and competed against Bernie in many golf tournaments over the last 30 years. He was always quick with a smile and laugh and I enjoyed playing with him very much. That great golf course is heaven just opened its doors to a great new member!!!

I've had the pleasure of meeting Bernie two years ago, being a new Member and Bernie wanting me to have a Great experience at a Club that he so much loved ,he took the time to share many memories about the Club and of course his games. We played many Tuesday and Thursday games, Bernie took pleasure in sharing his knowledge of the game and giving helpful instruction. A consummate student of the game, loved to talk golf and share stories. Having had the pleasure of being a member of several private clubs and playing golf with many people , I must say Bernie leaves a Big hole, one that will be difficult to fill....I will miss those golf outings dearly, most importantly I will miss Him and his story telling on the deck after our games...my sincere condolences to Samantha, may you cherish all the fond memories, I sure will.... We were very sorry to hear of the loss of Bernie. We met Bernie at the Niagara Falls Lightning Gymnastic Club, where our daughters trained together for several years in their youth. We enjoyed getting to know Bernie through our times volunteering together at BBQ's, and the many fundraising and Club events. He was a very warm and kind person. Our deepest condolences to Samantha, and the Bodogh family. Sandra and Michael Delduca and family, Niagara Falls.

My favourite memory was Bernie and myself waiting for the guys to come back from the horseshoe valley golf tournament at the motel! the many golf games and after golf escapades that we enjoyed together.
