Joe passed away peacefully after a short illness on April 8, 2022, in his 92nd year. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Inge, and his children, Tom (Kathy), Angela (Dave Irvine), and Harold (the late Linda). He is also survived by a sister, Lisebeth, and a sister-in-law, Heidi, both of

After his retirement, his skills as a machinist turned into a passion for woodworking. In his fully-equipped basement workshop, he produced hundreds of projects, from small to elaborate, each to his precise degree.
Joe and Inge loved to travel, enjoying vacations all over the world throughout the years. They also cherished the peaceful surroundings of their backyard and gardens, watching the bird and animal visitors.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
